Artists and
technology may have been my favorite unit we touched on. This past semester I
was in a digital arts class and it really opened my eyes on how artistic you
could be by simply using a computer program. Above is a calligram portrait I
mad of myself. Every single detail in the portrait is made out of words, even
my eyelashes. This project took what seemed like forever, and I put many hours
into perfecting it as best I could. I used Adobe Illustrator to create this and
it’s one of my favorite things I’ve created to this date which made me very
excited as I could tie it back to a unit we learned about here.
